1969 Kansas City Royals Game Worn Jersey
Spectacular and more importantly scarce gray flannel road jersey from the Royals inaugural season. “Kansas City” crosses the chest in cursive tackle-twill letters while Jackie Hernandez’ number “24” fills the back. Tagging on the tail includes, “Rawlings [size] 40” and “Do Not Dry Clean” strip tags and “Set 1 1969” flag tag. Additionally on tail, chain-stitched in blue, is “40 69 24”. Light but evident use most noticeable along the neckline.
