1969 Muhammad Ali "Float Like A Butterfly Sting Like a Bee" Poster
The finest Muhammad Ali movie poster of all, in terms of both rarity (this is the only one we know of) and design. The graphics in sumptuous b/w are perfect for the subject matter, which includes documentary footage of police dogs attacking civil rights protesters, or Ali himself exploding three dimensionally into the cameras, shouting “I shocked the world!” 27x41”. Mounted on linen, there has been some very professional restoration but the overall appearance is perfect mint. Obtained from an exceptional general poster collection (not sports, per se). The collector considered this to be the gem of his collection. We nearly had to box his ears to get this one.
