1969 New York Mets World Series Pendant

1969 New York Mets World Series Pendant

Amazing pendant pays tribute to the 1969 World Champion New York Mets. A gift from owner Bill Shea, the pendant is roughly 1x1" with Mets skyline logo on top left, "World Champions" engraved diagonally, and a baseball with five real diamonds and 1969 on the bottom right. The rear has a similar design, with top left listing the scores of the NLCS win over the Atlanta Braves, bottom right has a Mets cap and home plate, and the diagonal is engraved: To Marion - From Bill Shea, with the owner's name in a replica signature. Stamped 10k gold, no chain is present. Minor wear evident, in EX-NM condition. After a dismal start to their expansion tenure in New York, the Amazin's shocked the baseball world by topping the powerhouse Baltimore Orioles in the '69 Series.
