1969 Pete Ward Game Worn Jersey
Pete Ward spent nine seasons in the AL with three different teams and played at every position besides pitcher and catcher. His bat almost carried the White Sox to the 1964 pennant. This Chicago White Sox jersey is a great styled flannel and has “Ward” in the collar and Wilson size 42 with “1969 Set 1” stitched below. Number “65” on the back and front. Originally had Ward’s number 8 but was changed by the team when it was passed on to another player, probably for the spring training of 1970. MLB 100th Anniversary patch also removed from the left sleeve. Great style.
