1969 Rod Carew Minnesota Twins Game Worn Uniform (MEARS 10)

1969 Rod Carew Minnesota Twins Game Worn Uniform (MEARS 10)

Beautifully representative of one of the purest hitters in baseball history, this is the best Rod Carew full uniform known to exist. The home white pinstripe set from the Minnesota Twins has a matching jersey and pants, and every aspect of the jersey is 100% original and shows perfect use. Extensive tagging includes a 100th Anniversary MLB patch on one sleeve with a Twin Cities patch on the opposite and script Twins across the chest of the button-front beauty. Wilson manufacturer's tag is on the outside tail, the Hall of Famer's last name is chain-stitched on one tag and another indicates "40-1962 Set 2." The pants bear a size 32 tag with Carew's name written in black marker, and the set shows consistent, moderate use. One of the most beloved and prolific players ever, Rod Carew was named as in All-Star in all but the last of his 19 Major League seasons, so it is perfectly appropriate that the set is rated a perfect 10 by MEARS.
