1969 Rusty Staub Orange Crush Six-Pack

1969 Rusty Staub Orange Crush Six-Pack

Who could be a more perfect fit as an advertising spokesman for Orange Crush Soda than "Le Grand Orange" himself, Rusty Staub? The Montreal Expos were a first year National League expansion team and right-fielder Staub, after being obtained before the season from Houston, was a huge cult player and Montreal's first major league hero as he crushed 29 homers and hit .302. With his bright red (really orange) hair, large size and power, Staub earned his iconic "Le Grand Orange (The Great Orange)" nickname. The soda six-pack is written in English on one side and in French on the other, and it was only sold in Canada. Great graphics with a photo of Staub on both sides and lots of (what else?) orange. One full bottle. All bottles so rare.
