1969 Seattle Pilots Game Used Jersey
An outstanding and extremely rare home white flannel jersey from the most short lived of all major league franchises. A one year AL club who will be forever remembered in part due to Jim Bouton’s best seller “Ball Four” in which he chronicled his short stint with the club. This particular gamer belonged to hard hitting first baseman, Don Mincher who during the '69 season tallied twenty-five homers. “Pilots” stretches across the chest in blue with his number “5” on the reverse. Collar tagged “Wilson 38”. One of two variations, the jersey shows excellent use including some minor staining near the tail.
