1969 Weeb Eubank Super Bowl Trophy
8.5” tall pewter statue of New York Jets coach, Weeb Eubank stands atop a black podium with engraved silver plate, which reads, “Super Bowl Television, Best Direction by a Coach, Weeb Eubank.” This was presented to him following the 1969 Super Bowl, in which the New York Jets performed one of the most dramatic upsets in history, over the favored Baltimore Colts. Coach Eubank, who led the Colts to the NFL crown in 1958 in what has been dubbed “the Greatest Game Ever Played”, also led the AFL Jets to greatness just a decade and one year later. Statue of Eubank stands with hands folded behind his back, wearing overcoat and top hat. EX-MT.
