1970 -72 Roberto Clemente Game Worn Hat

1970 -72 Roberto Clemente Game Worn Hat

Pittsburgh Pirates two-tone mustard and black baseball cap was worn by Numero Uno back when the Bucs were working their way to a championship in '71. This style of cap was worn for only three years. Knit cap in black and gold sports the classic Pittsburgh Pirates "P" in fully embroidered stark black. The band in white shows very heavy use that proves Clemente's propensity to work up a sweat and his loyalty to the cap. New Era tag is delightfully stitched in but lacks size tag for the 6 7/8 cap. Most importantly, the brim -- marked by sweat stains and a crack -- boasts a perfectly worn in "21" in vintage black marker.
