1970 Art Shamsky New York Mets Signed Game Worn Jersey
Outfielder Art Shamsky played with the Mets during their World Championship year of 1969, and wore this all-original flannel road jersey the following season in 1970. "NEW YORK" is emblazoned across the front in blue felt on orange tackle twill. Shamsky's number 24 also appears in blue felt on the front, and he has autographed the jersey in blue sharpie just below his number 24, which also appears on the back in blue on orange. There is a Mets logo patch on the left sleeve; a "24-42-70 Set 2" strip tag is sewn into the collar, and a Wilson size 42 tag is sewn on the front left tail. Jersey shows minor soiling; overall nice use and condition.
