1970 Bowie Kuhn Game Bat (HOFer)
From just his second year as baseball commissioner, Hall of Famer Bowie Kuhn was presented this coveted game bat. Measuring 33.5" in length and weighing 40 ounces, this Adirondack bat is a true keepsake. Inducted in 2008, Kuhn had served for 20 years as legal counsel to the Major League owners before taking the reins as commissioner between 1969-1984 - a tenure most notably diminished by labor strikes and suspensions.
