1970 Dick Billings Washington Senators Jersey and Cap (Mears 10)
Dick Billings was a jack of all trades during his major league career, playing behind the plate, in the outfield and on the infield. He was also one of the players on the roster when the Washington Senators journeyed south to become the Texas Rangers after the 1971 season. From the season before, Billings wore this road gray button-down jersey, as well as this game-issue cap. The jersey - authenticated by Mears - shows moderate use and brandishes a Wilson 1970 Size 42 tag with 1970 chain-stitched on the tail. "SENATORS" appears in red script across the front and the number "35" adorns the reverse. Mears rates it a 10. The navy cap features the familiar red "W."
