1970 Milwaukee Brewers Game Worn Jersey - Inaugural Season
This vintage, game-worn jersey comes from the inaugural season of the Milwaukee Brewers in 1970. The Brewers originated as the Seattle Pilots, but lasted only one year in Seattle before being purchased by Bud Selig in bankruptcy court and promptly moved to Milwaukee. The flannel jersey features the same color scheme as the Pilots, and was worn by left-handed pitcher Bob Meyer (#38). A Wilson size tag with "70 Meyer" appears embroidered on the tail. Medium use show with one loose stitch near the neck. A bold "Brewers" nameplate appears across the chest.
