1970 Minnesota Twin Road Jersey
Terrific 1970 style has rarely surfaced in recent years and has become the missing link in many a game used jersey collections. This grey flannel specimen has "Twins" across the chest in double layer tackle twill, as is the blue-on-red number "49" on back. The left sleeve is sewn with an amusing team patch that depicts two similar looking men, one wearing a Minnesota uniform the other a St. Paul, shaking hands. Manufacturer's tagging from Spalding can be found on the front tail along with [size] "40" and care instruction tags. The felt plate located just above is heavily worn and reads,"1970 Set 1" in black chain-stitched thread. Double your pleasure!
