Second-year style from down south California way. Tough, tough find comes from the locker of pitcher Mike Corkins, whose last name is chain stitched between the numbers "44" and "30" in the tail of the jersey. "Padres" crosses chest in brown and yellow, with number "39" on verso (team number change). "Rawlings [size] 44" tagging in collar, with dry cleaning and "Set 1, #8P, 1970" flag tag in tail. Matching pants have same tagging (size 38), with chain stitched "R. Skinner, 4 70 38 29." Robert Skinner was a Padres coach. Jersey and pants have nice, even use. Finally, "New Era [size] 7 1/8" cap with number "8" under visor rounds out the package. Cardboard in visor is cracked. A wonderful display.
