1970s Jim Plunkett New England Patriots Football Helmet
Before securing his fame in a pair of Super Bowl victories for the Raiders, Jim Plunkett spent the first five years of his career running the offense of the New England Patriots. This traditional-style Pats lid was worn by the quarterback during that period. It bears the old double-bar mask then worn by QBs, is white with blue and red stripes and the logo is the sneering "Patriot Pat," resplendent in colorful colonial attire. The number 16 is written in black marker on the padding inside the top of the helmet, which shows nice use. The padding is a little cracked and detaching in places but is all still intact.
