1970s Joe Frazier Stage Worn Robe

1970s Joe Frazier Stage Worn Robe

Worn by Smokin‚ Joe during his prime as both a boxer and singer, this specialty robe was originally sourced from Frazier‚s personal collection and is most definitely one-of-a-kind. Surprisingly similar to what Frazier wore in the ring, this extraordinary piece was actually worn on stage while singing with his group, "The Knockouts." Very heavy and expensive custom made robe reeks of the 1970s, is made entirely of denim, reads "Smokin‚ Joe" across the back and features velvet stars highlighted with silver studs. Lined in bright red, this garment is completely original and still features its embroidered makers tag in the collar that reads, "The Actress Theatrical Costumers - 301 W. 55th St. NYC." This rare and special piece shows some use but still presents terrific condition and looks outstanding.
