1970s Sparky Anderson Cincinnati Reds Game Worn Parka
Worn by the man who drove the "Big Red Machine," this Cincinnati Reds parka was game worn by Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson. Perfect for those October playoff runs at chilly Riverfront Stadium, this bright red beauty has Wilson size M tag in neck with Anderson's number 10 in black marker, has CINCINNATI stitched across the chest in individual white lettering, Reds C logo patch on left sleeve, is snap-button and measures just over 50" long. Quilted lining to preserve warmth, but not overly heavy, likely so the fiery three-time World Series champ could more easily make his way to the field to "politely" discuss an umpire's call. Includes Letter of Provenance detailing its acquisition and use during the 1972-78 period.
