The 1970s was another memorable decade for the Bronx Bombers, who, under new owner George Steinbrenner, went on to capture three straight pennants, win two World Series and see their famed stadium renovated. This winning lot is comprised of 56 signed baseballs from New York Yankee legends, Hall of Famers and stars from the decade. Signed on Official American, National and Major League baseballs with ballpoint pen, the autographs include every player on the 1977 World Champion roster including: Billy Martin, Reggie Jackson, Ron Guidry, Jim "Catfish" Hunter, Sparky Lyle, Mike Torrez, Fran Healy, Chris Chambliss, Bucky Dent, Graig Nettles, Willie Randolph, Paul Blair, Doc Ellis, Lou Piniella, Mickey Rivers, Roy White, Cliff Johnson, Dave Kingman and Thurman Munson (on 1974 team ball). Other Yankees from 1976-79 include: George Steinbrenner, Bobby Murcer, Oscar Gamble, Ron Blomberg, Goose Gossage, Don Gullett, Jay Johnstone, Jim Spencer and more. Some show fading and toning but are overall EX-MT. There is a 1973 Yankees team-signed Cleveland Indians souvenir baseball with 26 signatures including: Thurman Munson, Elston Howard, Bobby Murcer, Ralph Houk, Jim Hegan, Roy White, Sparky Lyle, Graig Nettles, Ron Blomberg, Mel Stottlemyre and more. The Billy Martin signed baseball comes with PSA/DNA LOA and the 1973 Yankee ball comes with JSA LOA.
