1971-79 Bobby Murcer Game Used Autographed Bat
Outfielder Bobby Murcer played with the New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs and then the Yankees again during his 17-season Major League career that ran from 1965 until 1983. This Adirondack Bobby Murcer model 304 A bat was used by Murcer during the 1970's. Measuring 35" long and weighing 34.2 oz., the bat shows a heavy coat of pine tar and slight water staining at the top of the barrel. Murcer has inscribed the bat in red ink on the back of the barrel, "To Paul Best Wishes Bobby Murcer." Nice memento of yet another All Star ballplayer who left us too soon.
