1971 Al Attles Golden State Warriors Jersey
As a player, coach and team executive, Al Attles, one of the most distinguished Warriors in franchise history, has compiled a career that has spanned more than four decades. Involved in one of the most memorable games in NBA history on March 2, 1962, when teammate Wilt Chamberlain scored a record 100 points, Al would later lead his 1975 team to an NBA title. His road blue jersey dating from his final season of play is ironed on in gold felt, “Golden State 16” on the chest and “16” on the verso while, “Attles” appears between the shoulders in matching tackle twill. The “Wilson [size] 44” tail tagging has “+3” written in black pen and sits below a blue plate that is chain-stitched, “16-44-71” in white. Light but evident use.
