1971 Ali vs. Frazier Color Negatives by Frank Sinatra (4)
Commissioned by LIFE magazine to photograph "The Fight", Frank Sinatra captured some of the most thrilling images of the Ali-Frazier I from his ringside seat at MSG. Offered are four original negatives from that evening including the dramatic shot that appeared on the cover of the subsequent issue of LIFE (March 19, 1971). Each comes in the original packaging they were stored in at the archives along with the 4 x 6" dated file folder. All are EX-MT or better. Lot will include a Near Mint newsstand copy of LIFE featuring these images, sent in the mail from Frank Sinatra to the father of the consignor.
