1971 Apollo XIV Space Flown Medal (1x1.5")
Artfully designed medallion was designed by artist Jean Beaulieu at the Kennedy Space Center graphic arts department, then loaded into the space capsule for a trip to the moon with astronauts Shepard, Roosa and Mitchell. Documentation comes by way of an LOA from the former owner, Charles Conrad Jr., who flew on Gemini V and XI, Apollo XII and Skylab II. Also included is a publication listing and picturing all space flown medallions, including this one.
