1971 Clay Carroll Cincinnati Reds Game Worn Jersey
1971 Cincinnati Reds home jersey game worn by pitcher Clay Carroll. Off-white top is button-front and tagging sewn on the inside tail includes Rawlings size 44, laundering instructions, and Set 1 #8P 1971 printed on another tag. Embroidered in red on the front tail is "44 71" referencing the size and year. Left chest has Reds C logo patch, right side has number 36 in red numbers. Name is in individual all-red letters above the rear number; the lettering for the name has been replaced over the same last name by the team, and the current lettering also shows wear. Jersey has a very comfortable feel from wear and laundering, and remains in outstanding condition with a great look. Carroll was primarily a middle reliever during his 15 Major League seasons, though he did record 15 saves to go with a 10-4 record and 2.50 ERA for the '71 Reds.
