1971 Mel Stottlemyre Game Worn Jersey
The Yankee right hander went sixteen and twelve this season, an impressive total for a team a little light on the lumber. Jersey from the current pitching coach's playing days has restored "New York" crossing the chest of the road grey flannel, with number "50" on verso, changed when the jersey was sent down to the minors after the season ended. Stitching in collar is all original though, reading "Stottlemyre 42." Tail tagging is "Spalding Professional" with "71" year tag. A great chance to get a name player's Yankee flannel for pennies on the dollar.
