1971 Muhammad Ali vs. Buster Mathis On-Site Fight Poster
Former world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali fought Buster Mathis on November 17, 1971 at the Astrodome in Houston. Ali won by unanimous decision after 12 rounds to successfully defend his NABF Heavyweight Title. Presented here is an exceptionally rare, original on-site cardboard poster which has been mounted on heavy board. There is some wrinkling, plus staining and mildew present on the bottom border. The images and print remain bold on the 14" x 24" poster... one of the very few examples we have seen.
