Tremendous up-close image of Smokin' Joe Frazier landing a blow on Muhammad Ali in their 1971 bout known as the Fight of the Century. The 8x10" black and white shot shows a rarely-cornered Ali, with Frazier dealing a left hook. Image remains crisp, paper caption on verso partially covers the news service stamp, with caption reading in part, "Muhammad Ali holds onto ropes, as Joe Frazier moved in for a vicious blow to the head. Frazier retained his undisputed heavyweight title, March 8, by defeating Ali in a 15th-round unanimous decision." Caption is dated 3/9/71. Photo is encapsulated as PSA Type I Authentic.
