1971 Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates World Championship Ring

1971 Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates World Championship Ring

Though it's a salesman's sample, this ring is still a beautiful tribute to one of the greats. This Roberto Clemente ring is stamped by Jostens inside and is 10K gold, and also bears ID numbers inside. In NRMT condition, the size 9 specimen features a black stone on top with a faux diamond placed atop. Two circles of writing are on the bezel with the inner reading, "Pittsburgh 1971" and the outer proclaiming "WORLD CHAMPIONS." The left shank bears the engraved Pirates nickname above a raised pirate head image, while the right has "Clemente" engraved above a crossed-bats-and-baseball image. Roberto hit a pair of homers and was named Most Valuable Player as the Bucs defeated the Baltimore Orioles in a seven-game World Series.
