1971 Roberto Clemente Puerto Rican Contract

1971 Roberto Clemente Puerto Rican Contract

From his season of perfection. The same year of his magic 1971 World Championship where he showed the world that he was Numero Uno. Clemente would shine just as brightly in this 1970-71 season for the San Juan Senadores (the New York Yankees of Puerto Rico). And only for $1,300 a month. Four-pager for the 1970-71 season is exactly like a major league contract except in Spanish. Signed by “Roberto Clemente” in gorgeous, mint blue ink. The ink is as fresh as the day he signed it. There is a punchole that barely touches it but the signature is o/w NRMT. Above him it is signed three times by Club Officials. The contract has two punch-holes at top and shows minor wear (o/w EX) but the signatures are mint.
