Offered is an extremely high grade 1971 partial/starter set with most cards being vending quality, super sharp examples. This lot includes most of the biggest stars, and contains 91 high numbers. A total of 12 cards have been submitted by Leland's to PSA, with many, many more examples ready for third-party grading including some MINT quality cards. This set derives from the same collection as the 1964 Topps High Grade sets in our June Invitational auction, and the 1965 Topps Superior High Grade Set in this auction. These cards likely derived from the Richard Gelman Card Company in the 1970s and '80s, where our consignor was a regular visitor.
