1972 Clay Carroll MLB All-Star Game Award
Genuine 1972 All-Star Game award presented to Clay Carroll of the Cincinnati Reds. Consists of a heavy glass centerpiece which sits atop a separate wood base. Centerpiece stands just over 5" tall and 7.5" across, with National League logo and All Star Game 1972 etched into the flat front side. Base measures 7.25x7.25" and is surrounded by 12 National League logos - three on each side - with a Reds logo on top above a home plate-shaped plate reading, "Presented to Clay Carroll All Star Game, July 25, 1972" above a Charles Feeney replica signature. Though he was selected to the game, his second in as many years, Carroll did not play in the NL's 4-3, 10-inning victory. EX condition.
