1972 Dwight Evans Boston Red Sox Game Worn Jersey

1972 Dwight Evans Boston Red Sox Game Worn Jersey

1972 marked the debut of rookie Dwight Evans, a right fielder who would go on to win eight Golden Glove awards and eventually be considered one of the most impressive fielders in baseball history. This signed rookie-year jersey, an away-game gray knit with red lettering, features "BOSTON" on the front, with number 24 emblazoned across the back. Original and in-tact, with McAuliffe, size 44, 1972, and washing instruction tags sewn on the front tail. The jersey shows extremely nice use, with lots of wear on both the numbering and lettering, while the blue sharpie signature scores an impressive 8/10.
