1972 "Fore" Richard Nixon Putting Markers (45) on Original Store Display Card
Nixon was targeting America's golfers for his re-election bid in 1972. This set of "Fore" Nixon putting ball markers (45) is new, complete and still affixed to the store easel back display measuring 10" x 13". The display pictures a full color caricature of Nixon wearing a flag design outfit and holding a putter with a cheering gallery in the background. Illustration by E. Inberg. The markers are dime sized and made of bronze or brass. They depict a GOP elephant balancing a ball with a '72 inscribed on his trunk .
