1972 Muhammad Ali v. Mac Foster Full Ticket
On April 1, 1972, at Nihon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, former World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali continued his comeback from his loss a year earlier at the hands of Joe Frazier by taking on respected challenger Mac Foster in the main event. Foster stood up to Ali, but in the end the former champion prevailed, winning a unanimous 15-round decision. Offered here is arguably the most beautiful full ticket of any Muhammad Ali fight. This original, full, unused ticket is illustrated. It is clean front and back and not creased or torn. Minor marks on front by marker and minor clear tape on back. The stub is firmly attached. Exhibits just the slightest edge wear. Overall EX condition. One of the rarest of all Ali tickets and magnificent in every way. A jewel in any Ali collection.
