1972 Muhammad Ali vs. George Chuvalo Signed On-Site Fight Poster

On May 1, 1972 Muhammad Ali and George Chuvalo squared off for the second time. The fight was held at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ali succeeded in defending his NABF Heavyweight Title pounding out a relatively easy 12 round decision. Offered here is a scarce on site poster which has been signed by both fighters. This on site poster is paper and pictures both fighters in full fight poses. Approximately 22" x 34 1/2." Muhammad Ali has signed his name in thin black sharpie across his white trunks. George Chuvalo has signed and inscribed adjacent to his photograph, "Bob Boby After all that alledged boozing and skirt chasing (and apparently catching a few) back in '77 it's a wonder I never ended up in divorce court Your Pal George Chuvalo Looks like my pseudo namesake sure can mess up a reputation! Ha Ha" Has original folds. Generally clean. One small spot on right side. Professionally framed rare poster and rarer still signed by both combatants.
