1972 Muhammad Ali vs. Jerry Quarry II Fight Contract (PSA/DNA)

1972 Muhammad Ali vs. Jerry Quarry II Fight Contract (PSA/DNA)

This single-page contract is from Muhammad Ali and Jerry Quarry's second bout on June 27th, 1972. Signed by Ali and famed promoter Robert (Bob) Arum twice on the bottom of the contract in black ink, it displays minor tears on the sides and creasing on bottom corners but it presents quite beautifully, measuring 8.5x14". Comes with PSA LOA. In their first meeting in 1970, Quarry served as Ali's first opponent in over three years after refusing induction into the army, and Ali stopped his foe via cut after three rounds. In the 1972 Las Vegas rematch, the bruising Quarry once again was no match for "The Greatest," who defeated Quarry in the 7th round by TKO.
