1972 Puerto Rico Baseball Cards Complete Set and Album
Even though the cards are in the album, they are NOT pasted in. They were meticulously affixed to the pages with archival mounts and can be removed without harm if so desired. This complete set features sticker cards for all six teams' logos (or emblems), star rosters from the '70s, team photos for the champs (Santurce) and runners-up (Ponce), famous veterans (Satchel Paige, Luis Arroyo) and nine-card mosaic that recreates Roberto Clemente's head-shot. Among the active players featured are then-MLB stars Ron Cey, Don Baylor, Tony Perez, Orlando Cepeda, Doyle Alexander, Elrod Hendricks, Frank Robinson, Richie Zisk, Manny Sanguillen, Goose Gossage, Sixto Lezcano, Mike Schmidt, Felix Millan, Bob Boone, Buck Martinez, Ed Figueroa, Pepe Mangual and Benny Ayala among others, all in their Puerto Rican team uniforms. The cards are pack-fresh and the set is NRMT or better, with only a few centering issues. The album is Very Good and even includes a 5-cent wrapper (EX).
