1972 Summer Olympics XX Collection from Press Member
Remarkable collection of memorabilia acquired by press member Mitch Wieldt during his trip to the 1972 Summer Olympics. Stored in a vintage binder, the first page is a letter from the YMCA to Wieldt letting him know that he was picked to represent the US and was invited the 1972 Summer Olympics. Neatly organized, this keepsake includes opening ceremony ticket, key, press tag, photos of Mitch at the Olympics, subway ticket, school pass, boarding pass, meal ticket, official media guide, a "752" runner's bib from the games, envelopes for letters he sent to his parents in the US, postcards and newspaper articles.
