1972 Topps and OPC Baseball Wax Packs (6)
In 1972 Topps produced a 787 card set in six (6) series. Best remembered for its psychedelic design, it contained many rookie cards including: Cecil Cooper/ Carlton Fisk; Ben Ogilvie/Ron Cey; Dave Kingman and Chris Chambliss. Canadian sister company O-Pee-Chee Ltd. Released a near mirror set, issuing 525 card set which utilized the same designs with French text. Lot contains four (4) Topps wax packs: one (1) NM+ 7.5 GAI graded Series 1 pack; two (2) 2nd Series GAI graded packs (NM+ 7.5 & NM-MT 8) and one (1) ungraded unopened pack. A pair of 1972 O-Pee-Chee baseball packs are included. 6 wax packs total.
