1973-75 Hank Aaron Game Used Bat
Hall of Fame outfielder and former career home run leader Henry Aaron played in the Major Leagues from 1954 through 1976: for the Milwaukee Braves, the Atlanta Braves, and the Milwaukee Brewers. Selected 25 times to the All Star team, "Hammerin' Hank" also won three Gold Gloves and has had his number 44 retired by both the Braves and the Brewers. Aaron used this Louisville Slugger model A99 bat during 1973-75. Measuring 35" in length and weighing 32 oz., the bat is uncracked and has Aaron's number 44 written on the knob in black marker. Although he caused a lot of controversy when he broke Babe Ruth's career home run record of 714 in 1974, it pales in comparison to that surrounding the "Steroid Era" breaking of Aaron's own career home run record of 755. Great collectible from an undisputed baseball icon.
