1973-75 Richie Allen Game Used Autograped Bat (36")
Talented, controversial, charming, and abusive, Allen put in 15 major league seasons, hitting prodigious homers and paying prodigious fines. He was praised as a money player and an labeled "unmanageable loner". Offered is the former MVP's signature model H&B "P89", which weighs in at an astounding 39.5 oz. Its barrel is simply hammered with ball marks in addition to being littered with rack scuffs and cleat dents. The mid-section is caked with pine tar, and the surly slugger has signed and inscribed the bat, "Dick Allen R.O.Y. '64" in blue sharpie.
