1973 Dave Parker Signed Game Worn Rookie Jersey

1973 Dave Parker Signed Game Worn Rookie Jersey

As Roberto Clemente's replacement in the Pirates' right field, Dave Parker became the only Pirate since the Puerto Rican superstar to win the league MVP award (1978). Home white Pittsburgh Pirates pullover style was worn by Parker for his rookie season in 1973. Looks to have gotten a ton of use, judging from the dirt stains still visible on the front and the back, and the faded quality to the letters, numbers & trim. "Pirates 33" across the front in blue on mustard tackle twill. Verso is "39" (edges somewhat worn). As you can tell by the trace left behind, this jersey used to bear the circular Roberto Clemente commemorative patch on the left sleeve. It has been removed. Dave Parker has signed in blue sharpie in the collar. Inside back tail tagging is "Rawlings [size] 46" with care tag to its right. Comes with LOA's.
