1973 Mickey Lolich Detroit Tigers Game Worn Jersey
1968 World Series hero Mickeuy Lolich will forever be revered in Detroit for winning three games in the Fall Classic and leading the Detroit Tigers to the championship. The left-hander pitched 16 seasons in the major leagues, the first 13 of which were in Motown. The 1973 road gray jersey offered here is all-original with "DETROIT" across the front and "LOLICH" sewn directly on the back with "29" below. There is a "73 48 Set 1" tag on the front tail and Wilson size 48 tag in the collar. It shows very nice use. Lolich, who is of Croatian descent, swatted his only career home run during that 1968 Series and still holds several Tigers pitching records, including strikeouts, shutouts and innings pitched.
