1973 Muhammad Ali Presents Jose Naples vs. Clyde Gray On-Site Fight Poster
Jose Napoles fought Clyde Gray on September 22, 1973 at Maple Leaf Gardens. Napoles won by decision after 15 rounds to successfully defend his World Welterweight Title. Offered here is an original, on-site poster for this event. It is made from thin cardboard which has been mounted on heavy board. Pictures both fighters in full fight poses and a cameo shot of Muhammad Ali, who was involved in the promotion. The poster has no creasing, but there is some soiling and discoloration. Measures 17.5" x 23."
