1973 Notre Dame National Champions Football Ring
Notre Dame's thrilling undefeated season of '73 was capped off by a come from behind victory against unbeaten, #1 seeded Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. We offer the very sample prize that would later be put into production and awarded to the National Champs. The elegant non-gold ring has a deep blue stone at top with the university's "ND" logo in gold in the center. Surrounding it in raised text is, "National Champions" and four circular areas where cz's would be set on the player's personal models. On the right shank is "Fighting Irish-1973" and a three-leaf clover, while on the opposite shank rests "Sugar Bowl", "Notre Dame 24 Alabama 23", and "MacArthur Bowl". The area intended for the player name has been left blank. Size 9.5, NRMT.
