1973 Oakland Athletics World Championship Ring
The early '70s Oakland Athletics were known for their colorful personalities off the field and their utter domination on the diamond. Led by slugger Reggie Jackson, the 1973 A's defeated the Mets in seven games to secure their second of three straight titles. Here is the 1973 World Championship Ring which was presented to a member of the A's front office. On the face is an oval emerald surrounded by the words "World Champions '72-73." On the right panel is the A's logo with "Oakland" and "Fox." The left panel shows “A’s-4 Mets-3" and below that is "A’s-4 Reds-3" and "S+S+S". This size 9.5 ring is 10K gold and made by Jostens.
