1974-75 Johnny Bench Game Used Bat

1974-75 Johnny Bench Game Used Bat

Arguably the best catcher in baseball history, Johnny Bench was an integral part of the Big Red Machine, and the Cincinnati slugger used this Hillerich & Bradsby model B278 bat with cupped end. Measuring 35.5" and weighing 32 oz., it matches factory records, is uncracked and features Bench's "5" on the knob end in marker. The bat shows light use with some ball, spike and bat rack marks. Upon closer inspection, it appears as if it may have been used by someone after Bench to hit balls, and even shows signs of a bit of abuse with some rock marks.
