1974 Boxing Proof Ticket - Ali vs. Foreman "Rumble in the Jungle" PSA Full EX 5
Vintage proof of a ticket from one of the most famous Heavyweight Championship bouts ever, the 1974 "Rumble in the Jungle" between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali in Kenshasa, Zaire. Bright green and yellow full ticket proof is 6x3", with artist images of both fighters on the face and Zaire president Mobuto Sese Seko pictured on the back. Proof is encapsulated by PSA as FULL EX 5. The bout, on October 30, 1974, featured the undefeated (and seemingly unbeatable) Foreman taking on former champ Ali. A testament to his hard-earned nickname as The Greatest, Ali, frustrated and wore out the hulking Forman while huddling in a defensive cocoon that he later dubbed the "Rope-a-Dope" in leading to a convincing 8th round knockout.
