1974 Graig Nettles New York Yankees Game Worn Jersey

1974 Graig Nettles New York Yankees Game Worn Jersey

He retired as the most prolific home run hitter ever among American League third basemen with 390, and Graig Nettles was even more impressive defensively at the hot corner, where he made spectacular plays look routine. From the second of his 11 seasons in the Bronx comes this all-original home Yankees jersey with "NY" on the front and "9" on the back. "Nettles" is stitched on a strip inside the collar, and there are Wilson size 42 and "74 Set 1" tags on the front tail. The jersey shows terrific use with some foxing inside on the lining at the collar and front button areas. There are some loose stitches on the "9" on the back, but we cannot stress enough that this is a 100% original item, and a beauty. Nettles played 22 big-league seasons and was named to six All-Star teams.
