1974 Johnny Pesky Boston Red Sox Coaches Jersey
Lifetime .307 hitter Johnny Pesky died last year but remains a beloved Red Sox star and World War II veteran. This beautiful specimen was manufactured by McAULIFFE UNIFORM CORP with all appropriate tags, including SIZE 42 on the rear collar. Heavy material construction features a V-neck, faded BOSTON lettering on the chest and 35 on the back. Pesky wore this jersey in 1977 when he served as first base coach, as indicated by the 1977 patch on the front flap. Pesky's name still resonates at Fenway Park as the right-field foul pole is affectionately known as the "Pesky Corner."
